MEDDAC Bavaria provides health care services to U.S. Army installations located in Ansbach, Grafenwoehr, Hohenfels, Stuttgart and Vilseck, Germany.

The approximately 700 service members and Civilians who comprise the MEDDAC Bavaria staff serve five U.S. Army installations - approximately 35,500 community members in Bavaria and an additional 10,000 community members in Stuttgart, Germany.

MEDDAC Bavaria promotes health and readiness through a number of programs in support of Soldiers and military Families in Germany including the Performance Triad and preventive medicine programs such as smoking cessation, proper nutrition, stress management, etc.

In support of U.S. Forces operating in Eastern Europe, MEDDAC Bavaria provides staffing for two forward operating site healthcare facilities at Mihail Kogalniceanu, Romania and Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria. Both facilities provide support to U.S. Forces in the Black Sea Theater of operations.

In an effort to be as transparent as possible, This Army Health Clinic (U.S. Army Medical Department Activity-Bavaria), in coordination with the Military Health System, is voluntarily making several quality and safety measures public. For U.S. civilian healthcare systems, participation is voluntary. Therefore you might not be able to find the same measures published by some state-side facilities.
