The Enhanced Access Clinic opened May 20, 2016, to better serve our TRICARE Prime and TRICARE Plus beneficiaries unable to be seen on any given duty day by their Primary Care Manager or Team. This additional primary care capacity also helps provide significant access to our Space-Available patients in the greater KMC area.
The Enhanced Access Clinic, staffed by three doctors, two nurse practitioners and six licensed practical nurses, offers primary care to Space-A patients in the following Medical Service Account/Pay Patient categories:
• Department of the Air Force, Army and Navy civilians
• Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DODDS) employees
• Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) employees
• U.S. contract employees
• Authorized foreign military members/civilians
• Command sponsored family members of any of the above
Primary care services offered at the clinic include:
• Routine wellness exams
• Health promotion
• Disease prevention
• Health maintenance
• Patient education
• Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses
• Referrals for access to specialty consultation
To access the Enhanced Access Clinic, eligible Space-A patients must first visit the Admissions & Disposition Office at the LRMC Patient Administration Department (PAD) to register as a patient. You should bring your DoD ID Card and insurance information with you. The Admissions & Disposition Office is located in Bldg. 3766 (main hospital) in Room 15B103. Once registered, the next step is to call the LRMC Call Center/Appointment Line at DSN 590-5762/Commercial 06371-9464-5762 and tell them you are calling for an appointment with the Enhanced Access Clinic. Every effort will then be made to provide a primary care appointment.
