Next HAZMAT POC classes are 0800 to 1000 on 20 August, and 15 October 2015 at the Learning Resource Center.

MISSION:
LRMC Environmental Health service provides direct support for the LRMC Area of Responsibility consisting of four U.S. Army Garrison communities in Southwest Germany: United States Army Garrisons (USAG) Rheinland-Pfalz, Baumholder and Wiesbaden. Our mission includes monitoring Food Sanitation and General Hygiene through routine and comprehensive inspections, Municipal Water Quality, Hazardous Materials and Medical Waste Management and Food Safety Training Seminar.

- Food Safety and General Hygiene Surveillance
- Municipal Water Quality analysis and consultation
- Medical HAZMAT Program oversight and consultation

TRAINING/EDUCATION:
- Food Safety Seminar for Volunteer Food Handlers is the first Thursday of the month at 1700. The seminar is held at the LRMC Learning Resource Center. There will also be a class held 10 Sept 2015 at 1330. The class will be held at Baumholder’s ACS. For more information and registration, contact Environmental Health at 590-5828 (pre-registration is NOT required).
