For U.S. civilian healthcare systems, participation is voluntary. Therefore you might not be able to find the same measures published by some state-side facilities.

Hours:
Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Closed on weekends, Federal holidays and from Noon to 4:30 p.m. the 3rd Thursday of the month for staff training.

Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS) has two divisions. Early Intervention (EI) provides services to infant and toddlers from birth to age three. The Related Services (RS) component provides therapy to children ages three and above through our DoDDS system. EDIS provides diagnostic and therapeutic intervention in the areas of early childhood education; occupational, physical, speech/language therapy; psychology and social work.

EDIS PROVIDES SERVICES TO:

Military and Civilian Families with children ages Birth – 3 (Early Intervention Services) and school age children 3 – 21 (Related Services).

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR EARLY INTERVENTION SERVICES?

Any child (birth – 3 years of age) for whom there are concerns about developmental delays can be referred, have an intake completed, screened and evaluated.
